More About The European Mouflon:
The European Mouflon is an herbivore, feasting on fresh and dried grasses, shrubbery, and tree bark.
Tracking these herd animals takes skill – and our guides are exceptionally skilled. Trekking across the grasslands to find the perfect vantage point is just the start of this exciting hunt.
Although a seemingly shorter lifespan of only 10 years, the European Mouflon’s horns grow throughout their entire life, making for an impressive trophy on mature sheep.
The European Mouflon is a truly all-terrain animal and can be tracked anywhere from the grassy plains to the rugged mountains. These herds also tend to socialize at the watering holes.
The average trophy for the curved horns of European Mouflon is 30”, but these horns are also impressively wide.
Naturally herd animals, the European Mouflon live in separate groups according to sex and dominance, mingling only during mating season.
